Japan Aid Tees
This was my first run at mass producing tees. The goal was to raise goodwill and a little money for Japan's relief efforts. I worked along side Anthony Aguilar the artist to bring you these tees. Because of his drive and talent he was a breeze to work with. When I sent him the drawing below and asked if he could come up with a clean graphic I was amazed with what he sent back the following day.
Sometimes you gotta leave it to the pros.
I used Alstyle tees I got from the warehouse in Anaheim. It's close and they produce a good product.
The wall of accomplishment.
Anthony getting shit done.

It's not the first time I got honorable mention in the Writer's Day Competition. I've gotten it twice before back in the 2009 competition for the poems Familiar Games and Tickle Monster, but this years competition featured several of my friends, as well as two of my favorite writers. Charlotte San Juan, the twat that sweeps poetry and fiction every year. And Kevin Ridgeway the new talent to pop up in creative non-fiction. At first I though Kevin was a dick when he didn't respond to my praise. He just walked by me like I was a jerk-off. Later on I found out that he just hadn't heard me. However this was after I had remarked on how much I thought he resembled a character from the Milton Bradly game Guess Who? in the front of the auditorium.
Is it Kevin?

This competition yields some awesome talent. It's no wonder why I don't place.
